Burna Boy’s Album Twice As Tall Wins Best Global Music Album At The Grammy
Today, March 14, 2021, Nigerian genius, Burna Boy won a Grammy Award for “Best Global Music Album” with his “Twice As Tall” collection.
Burna Boy beat Antibalas for Fu Chronicles, Bebe Gilberto for Agora, Anousha Shankar for Love Letters and Tinariwen for Amadjar.
Prior in 2020, Burna Boy’s collection, African Giant lost the class to Anqelique Kidjo’s reimagination of Celia Cruz’s music on the eponymous, Celia.
Burna Boy talked about a portion of that on the initial track to ‘Twice As Tall’.
Half a month prior, the Recording Academy reported the classification in the past known as ‘Best World Music Album’ would turn out to be ‘Best Global Music Album.’
Burna Boy lost to Angelique Kidjo when the class was known as ‘Best World Music Album.’
